The 3 Dimensional Method for Back Pain

Hey everybody, this is Mike Urhlaub with another episode of Power Your Life. Today, we’re going to talk about the three-dimensional method for back pain. Before we get into that, I want to tell you about a recent client of mine, Jason, which is not his real name for identity protection. Jason came to me when he had very intense lower back pain, which had been there for over six months.

Jason was an electrician and because he had to do a lot of bending, twisting, and wire work, he couldn’t work because of his back pain. He had been out of work for six months and he was starting to get worried he would never be able to return to work. He was also working on these home remodeling projects, and he couldn’t finish them. His wife wasn’t happy with him in that aspect. So, Jason was frustrated and on top of that, he was hurting. You could see the pain all over his face and my heart goes out to people like him because you just want to be able to take their pain away.

Jason had been to another therapy clinic for numerous visits before he came to see me, and he didn’t get any relief. I talked with Jason and we went over what he was doing, but he wasn’t feeling that it was helping. He was starting to think that nothing was going to be able to fix him. He felt like he was at the end of his rope. When I met with him and we started discussing, I knew right away what was going on. I had asked him if anyone had ever addressed his psoas muscle, which is also the hip flexor muscle in front of the hip area.

When I asked Jason this, he looked at me with an expression that said, “What on earth are you talking about?” He did not know what that was. So, I pushed in on his psoas muscle and I pushed in on his lower stomach. I’ll never forget how tender he was when I pushed on that. He was ready to jump off the table. This is what happens when that muscle is so hyperactive. It’s gets knotted up and it really hurts. This ends up pulling and creating a compression on the spine, which makes the pain worse.

He confirmed with me that no one has ever pushed on his muscle like that before when he had gone to therapy. Another problem that he had was that his hips were very stiff. He had a hard time sitting in the position of a figure four, where you take your foot and place it on top of the opposite knee. Stiffness in the hips is something that is very common, and I see it with many people with back pain. A hyperactive psoas muscle and tight hips are those direct links to the issues for back pain.

I started Jason on the three-dimensional method and after the first session, he has already felt some sort of relief. I ended up seeing him over the next six weeks after that. We addressed his problem areas using the three-dimensional method, and he was pain-free and back to work at the end of those six weeks. The reason I’m telling you about this is because this isn’t just a method that we suddenly came up with. This is something that I’ve been using in my practice for a long time and has been proven again and again.

So, what exactly is this three-dimensional method that I’m talking about? This method is specifically for those that are struggling and want a true fix. They don’t want to use any pills, injections, or surgery, and they want to avoid those frequent or expensive trips to the doctor. This method rapidly reshapes and rejuvenates the spine. It doesn’t just alleviate the pain; it remodels and changes the spine to help normalize the activity of the hip flexors of the psoas muscle. It fortifies the activity and the strength of the gluteal muscles and the core.

The result of this is you become more confident and energetic because you’re not in pain anymore and it’s also remodeling and reshaping the spine. Now, I balance the musculoskeletal system and essentially, we’re using these unique movements, stretching and exercising, and a unique pressure point release technique. It’s all natural and it’s fast acting. The movements, the stretching and exercise methods, and the pressure point treatments are the key portions of the three dimensional. For many of the clients that use this, they’re going to see that pain decrease in that first session. They’re going to start feeling better within two to three sessions. After that, they’re going to start noticing dramatic improvements in how they move and how they sleep at night.

I tell this to all my patients: my job is to work myself out of a job. It is to teach each one of my clients how to take care of this problem on their own. I don’t want somebody to be dependent on me. The aim of this program is to get you to in the program on your own. This program only takes 8- 10 minutes a day to fix your body and to have that lifelong spine health. Now, here’s how it works. The first thing that this three-dimensional program does is it stops inflammation.

It uniquely stops inflammation in three ways. First, it decreases inflammation mechanically. It alleviates by getting the muscles to release. In other words, it shuts off the hyperactive muscles and turns on the muscles that are underactive. In most back cases, it is the psoas muscle that is hyperactive, and the gluteal muscles are underactive. When you get those muscles to turn off and turn on mechanically, there’s less compression. It decreases the compression on the spine, which mechanically decreases that inflammation. It changes chemically because when a muscle is hypotonic, meaning it’s all connected back it up and it releases it loosens, you get increased blood flow into that area. Blood flow carries the nutrients that the spine needs to heal and flush out that inflammation.

Now, we’re shutting off those pain impulses. It’s like you’re finding the off switch in your body to turn off the pain impulses. It balances those muscles in the joints for smooth motion, the body chemistry, and the nerve impulses. The second thing is that it stops pain. By normalizing using that muscle activity by stretching out and deactivating those tight dysfunctional muscles, and then resetting the nerve impulses by activating the proper muscles, it can reduce that pain almost immediately. That’s why clients will feel better right away on that first session. Then, the third thing is it improves the strength and flexibility. So, we’re instructing in the unique movements and exercises that are custom for your condition and your body. This brings in balance and harmony to your body and spine for long-lasting relief.

If you want to know more about this, I would recommend you get a copy of my free eBook, “The Five Best Kept Secrets To Fast Back Pain Relief.” You can get a copy by sending us a Facebook message or you can email me at mike@flex-pt.com and we’ll sent out to you right away. It has a lot of very helpful, valuable information that can help you along your way of getting better and fixing your back for life.
